School-morning rush
You’re late. They move slowly. You repeat yourself. Everyone escalates.
What may be happening: Transitions + time pressure

You’ve read the tips. Tried being calm. Tried being firm. And somehow you’re back in the same fight.
You probably don’t need another parenting tip. You need help figuring out why this keeps happening in your family and what actually makes sense to try next.

“My child doesn’t listen.”
You’re late. They move slowly. You repeat yourself. Everyone escalates.
What may be happening: Transitions + time pressure
You say no. Grandparents allow it. Nanny handles it differently.
What may be happening: Inconsistent responses
You’re exhausted after work. They’re exhausted after school. Both of you have less patience.
What may be happening: Parent fatigue + child decompression
That’s why Rooted Wings doesn’t start with another tip. We first understand what’s actually happening in your family.
What Rooted Wings helps you figure out
You don’t have to answer these before reaching out. That’s the point.
How it works
“Every morning I repeat myself ten times and eventually lose it.” No diagnosis needed.
When does it happen? When does it not? What have you already tried? Who else is involved? What happens right before and after?
The issue may be a one-time question, a repeated behaviour loop, inconsistent responses, parent stress, family dynamics, or something that needs specialist support.
Not every parent needs the same expert or the same number of sessions.
Did you try it? What changed? What didn’t? Does the plan need adjusting?
Sometimes one or two conversations are enough.
Good for:
Developmental doubts • One specific situation • Deciding what to try next • Figuring out whether more support is needed
Typical format: 1–2 focused sessions
Sometimes you need a few weeks to try something, adjust and see what actually changes.
Typical format: Around 4–6 weeks
Sometimes the child’s behaviour is tied to parent stress, different parenting styles, family relationships and repeated adult-child patterns.
Typical format: Often around 8–12 weeks
We first understand the situation, then recommend the minimum support that makes sense.
